Children grow up wanting to be everything from a police officer to a pilot to an astronaut. For as long as I can remember, I always only wanted to be a Gynaecologist, mind you, not a doctor but a Gynaecologist.
During my growing years, part of my home would be converted to a clinic during the 2nd half of the day where my father, himself a Gynaecologist would see majority of his patients. This gave me an n opportunity to be around and interact with a lot of his patients. I think it was the immense respect, love and adulation he commanded that made me feel so strongly for this profession.More

Parenthood

This is something every woman dreams of. Becoming a mother.... 9 years of marriage & I was losing hope. Every day was a trauma. Not only the pain of not being pregnant but also the social stigma attached to it.

Incredible journey !!

Like most working couples of our age, my husband and I were too busy pursuing demanding careers and having a good time. Not paying heed to our parents, we thought that there was time enough to start thinking of a family.....till one day I realized that very soon I would be on the wrong side of thirty.
